Online Shabutsu・November

Nobember 22(sat.)11:00~12:00 (Japan time)
It’s hard to believe that there are only seven weeks left in the year…
In November, I will once again be hosting a Shabutsu (Buddha-copying meditation) session to help calm and center the heart.
This month’s model is the Beginner-Level Dragon.
We will practice not only how to draw a dragon, but also how to paint soft ink clouds using light sumi shading.
It can be a little challenging to create soft gradients with light ink on regular copy paper, but once you learn the technique, please try it again when you make your final clean version!
The practice sheet (Otehon) can be downloaded for free from the Eisui Official LINE account.
For those without a printer, the Seven-Eleven Print Service will be available until November 30.
Free templates featuring lotus flowers, lions, and other motifs are also available.
I hope you’ll take this opportunity to experience the meditative joy of shabutsu and try out various designs.
