Story
This artwork was created as a memorial monument for animals.
As someone who has shared my life with many pets and experienced the heartbreak of parting with them time and again, I poured my deepest wishes into this piece—hoping that our beloved companions find peace and happiness in a place like this after they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
Even though we know that one day we must say goodbye to our pets, the sorrow of losing them is still unbearably difficult to accept.
After they are gone, we are left not only with the deep sadness and loneliness of their absence but also with overwhelming feelings of regret and remorse—"I wish I had done more for them," "I wish I had noticed their pain sooner."
This painting was created with the hope of bringing comfort to grieving owners, depicting a warm and gentle world where our beloved pets live on, free from pain and suffering, happily playing beyond the Rainbow Bridge.
Adjacent to this memorial stands an eternal memorial monument, where another of my works, "The Birth of the Buddha," has been enshrined. The two paintings are designed to be connected, symbolizing that our beloved pets are waiting for us in the same place we will one day go.
With this artwork, I pray that the hearts of grieving owners find peace and healing as soon as possible.
